New Rule for Railway General Tickets: A photo ID is required for traveling in reserved class trains. This system already exists in the Railways. Now, a photo ID will be mandatory for traveling on a general ticket as well. Travel without any ID will be valid as before for those purchasing tickets from the railway counter. However, if booking a general ticket through the RailOne app, it will be mandatory to carry a photo ID during travel.

To educate passengers, various railway zones have shared information regarding this matter. General tickets booked through the RailOne app before train departure will be valid for travel. Tickets will only be valid on the registered mobile number from which the ticket was issued.

Traveling with a WhatsApp ticket or a screenshot of the ticket will not be permitted. This means that if you board a train and request a ticket from someone else via WhatsApp, you will be considered a ticketless traveler. Even if you show a screenshot of the ticket on a mobile phone other than the one used to book the ticket, you will still be considered a ticketless traveler.

Three percent bonus scheme till August 24, 2028
