Meanwhile, the pace of monsoon has slowed down in Rajasthan. The weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of the state today, and there is no warning of heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Department, weak monsoon conditions are likely to persist in most parts of the state for the next four to five days. After this, a new phase of rain is likely to begin in northeastern and eastern Rajasthan. There are indications of increased rainfall activity from the third of next month. Between September 4 and 7, light to moderate rain may be seen at some places in Bharatpur, Kota, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Udaipur divisions. Light to moderate rain may occur at some places in Bikaner division between September 5 and 8.

Humidity and heat may trouble people today. The highest maximum temperature in the state on Sunday was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius in Sriganganagar. People may have to face humid heat in Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur, Churu, Ajmer, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Karauli, Sriganganagar, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Pali, Rajsamand, Balotra and Deeg.
