Motorola Edge 70 Set to Launch in India on December 15 with Triple 50MP Cameras and 30-Minute Fast Charging

Motorola has officially confirmed the India launch of its new premium smartphone, the Edge 70. The device will debut on December 15 and will be available for purchase through offline retail stores as well as on Flipkart.
The Motorola Edge 70 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and will feature a Vapor Cooling Chamber system for improved thermal management during heavy usage. It will run on Hello UI based on Android 16. Motorola has also promised three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i for enhanced durability. For an immersive audio experience, the phone will support Dolby Atmos.
In terms of photography, the Motorola Edge 70 will come with a triple rear camera setup featuring three 50MP sensors, including a primary lens and an ultra-wide lens with macro support. The phone will be capable of recording 4K videos at up to 60fps. On the front, it will sport a 50MP quad-pixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The device will also offer a rugged build with MIL-STD 810H certification and IP68 + IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, allowing the phone to charge fully in just about 30 minutes. The Edge 70 will be available in three Pantone-certified color variants.
