1.5 acre farmhouse built for dogs

74-year-old Mithun Da has a total of 116 dogs, many of which are strays whom he has adopted. He has built a large farmhouse of 1.5 acres in Mud Island near Mumbai for all these dogs. Many servants have been employed in this farmhouse to take care of the dogs.

Mithun Chakraborty's daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma told in an interview that there is a separate room for every dog in the farmhouse which has all the facilities like play material, food and medical facilities. Mithun Da buys dogs of different breeds from wherever he goes and takes them along on holidays as well.

Mithun Chakraborty owns assets worth 400 crores

Mithun Chakraborty is a well-known actor of Hindi and Bengali films of the 1970s. He also worked in politics as a Rajya Sabha member from 2014 to 2016. According to reports, his total assets are more than Rs 400 crore and he owns more than 40 houses.
