Petrol and diesel prices remain a key consideration for motorists across India, as retail rates vary between cities due to differences in state taxes, transportation costs, and other local taxes. Customers who check the new petrol and diesel prices on Wednesday, October 21, can compare rates in their cities before refueling.

Oil marketing companies review fuel prices daily under India's dynamic pricing system, and changes typically take effect at 6 a.m. However, daily reviews don't necessarily result in price changes. Rates may remain unchanged for extended periods depending on market conditions and pricing decisions.
