When Sankalp entered Indian Idol Junior, his parents were present, but when he returned this time, only his mother accompanied him. With a tearful heart, Sankalp shared memories of his Indian Idol Junior days and the difficult journey he's been on.

Family drama at a singing talent show

Sankalp told the show's judges, "My parents divorced after Indian Idol Junior. Now, our only connection is music, and through that, I'm constantly trying to overcome that pain." Revealing his father's words, Sankalp said, "He said, 'You are not my child.' I was completely devastated at that time."

After that, my mother always dreamed of me becoming a singer, and today she proudly stood by me. If it weren't for her, I would never have reached this far. She didn't give up after separating from my father, so I inherited her values, and I can't give up either. Now, I intend to fulfill her dream at any cost."

Shreya Ghoshal expressed sympathy

Shreya Ghoshal, a judge on the show, already knew Sankalp Yadav. As the contestant recounted his story, Shreya grew emotional. She said, "The smile your mother gave me when she saw you made me emotional. It's now your responsibility to make her life better. I still remember how brilliant every performance of yours was. I truly admire your mother's courage."
