Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is making a surprising return to IMAX screens in India after being replaced by Yash-starrer Toxic. The development comes as Toxic’s theatrical performance has weakened sharply after its opening day, while The Odyssey continues to attract audiences in several major cities.
According to the information provided, The Odyssey’s IMAX screenings were removed following Toxic’s release. However, within 48 hours, the Hollywood film was reportedly brought back to IMAX screens amid continued demand in Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The Odyssey continues its strong run
The Odyssey has maintained a solid presence at the Indian box office. After five weeks, the film’s reported net collection in India stands at ₹178.05 crore, while its gross collection is estimated at around ₹206 crore.
