Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has revealed that while shooting for the film "Veere Di Wedding," she felt half-naked during a scene. She even complained to producer Rhea Kapoor about this. In a recent interview, Swara explained how "Veere Di Wedding" proved to be her most challenging film. She explained that preparing for the role's body language and dialogues was a breeze, but playing the glamorous character was the most challenging for her.

Swara Bhaskar felt challenged during 'Veere Di Wedding'

Speaking to Mirchi Plus, Swara Bhaskar revealed that she was under pressure to focus on her look and costume and maintain a specific physique for her role in Veere Di Wedding. This made shooting for the film stressful. Swara also said that she had never felt so challenged in her career. However, thanks to stylist Rhea Kapoor, she was able to manage everything.

Swara felt uncomfortable while shooting for the song 'Tareefan'

Talking about shooting for the song 'Tareefan' from the film, Swara said, "The most difficult thing was to look good every day. Wearing lenses, doing makeup and doing new hair. Sometimes I would wear clothes and ask them what is this? Are these clothes? I remember when I was shooting for 'Tareefan', I wore a bodysuit. It was the first time I had heard about it. It is actually a deep neck one-piece swim costume, which is worn with heels or boots."

Swara further added, "We had to get out of the vanity van in the parking lot and walk to the studio. I asked Rhea, 'Are these clothes? I'm not wearing anything underneath.' She said the outfit had a vibe with the dishnet stockings. I said, 'I'm half naked. How will I go to the studio like this?' I asked for a towel and wrapped it around me. So it was difficult for me."

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding tells the story of four friends struggling in their relationships. The film stars Kareena Kapoor (Kalindi Puri), Sonam Kapoor (Advocate Avni Sharma), Swara Bhaskar (Sakshi Soni), and Shikha Talsania (Meera Kaur). Released in January 2018, the film was a box office hit. Reports suggest a second installment is in the pipeline, and work on it will begin soon.
