Hyundai has launched a new variant SX+ of its popular sedan car Verna. The starting ex-showroom price of this new variant has been kept at around Rs 14 lakh. The SX+ variant will be available only in the 1.5-liter MPi engine, which comes with two transmission options - manual and iVT (automatic). Among these, the iVT version is a bit expensive and has been priced at around Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Verna: What new will be available in the SX+ variant?

Many premium features have been added to the new SX+ variant to improve the inside sitting experience. It includes an 8-speaker Bose sound system, leather seat covers, front ventilated and heated seats, front parking sensors, LED headlamps, and many more modern features. Hyundai has introduced this variant at a time when it has recently launched new variants of its 7-seater SUV Alcazar.

Hyundai Verna: Engine Options, Power and Gearbox
The Hyundai Verna comes in two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and the second is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. The NA engine produces 114 bhp of power and 143.8 Nm of torque. Which is mated to a 6-speed manual or iVT gearbox. At the same time, the turbo engine produces 157 bhp of power and a tremendous torque of 253 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission.

Hyundai Verna: Many premium features are available in Verna

Hyundai Verna has a large curved display, which works for both infotainment and driver information. It has a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen that supports 12 languages. Also, a digital instrument cluster with TFT MID is provided.

The dashboard comes in two color themes - black-red in the turbo variant and black-beige in the non-turbo. Apart from this, features like 64 color ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power driver seat, and leather seats are also available.
