The five-match Test series between India and England is starting today on 20 June. The first match of the series will be played at Headingley Leeds from 20 to 24 June. The next four matches will be held at Edgbaston, Lord's, Old Trafford and The Oval. Many great bowlers have participated in the Test matches played between India and England in the last 93 years. Before the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy starts in 2025, let's take a look at the top five bowlers who have taken the most wickets in India-England Test matches.

James Anderson, who is at the top of this list, is England's most experienced Test player and most successful bowler. He played 39 Tests against India in his 21-year career and dismissed 149 batsmen. Ashwin is in second place, who dismissed 114 batsmen in 24 Tests against England for India. In third place, former Indian spinner Bhagwat Chandrashekhar played 23 Tests against England and dismissed 95 batsmen. At fourth, former Indian Test captain Anil Kumble played 19 Tests against England in his 18-year career and dismissed 92 batsmen. At number five, Bishan Singh Bedi took 85 wickets in 22 Tests against England.

The world's number 1 Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah will lead India's bowling and will be supported by Mohammad Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Akash Deep, Shardul Thakur, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Arshdeep Singh. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Washington Sundar are also included in the team. England's bowling will be led by experienced Chris Woakes, who will be supported by Josh Tongue, Brydon Carse, and spinner Shoaib Bashir.
