During the Janata Darshan held on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid floral tributes and personally listened to grievances brought by more than 50 people from across the state. Among those who came was a young man from Barwalia village in Rae Bareli’s Khero police station area, who submitted an application on behalf of his father suffering from kidney, heart, and urinary ailments. Due to financial difficulties, the family was unable to afford treatment at a private hospital.
Responding promptly, CM Yogi directed that the patient be admitted to the medical college hospital for treatment. He also asked officials to obtain a treatment estimate from the hospital to facilitate further assistance. This quick intervention highlights the government’s commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare for those in need.
Many other complainants also sought financial assistance for medical treatment during the Janata Darshan. The Chief Minister assured that the government has been providing continuous financial support to needy patients over the past eight years and will continue to do so. He encouraged patients to get an estimate from their hospitals so the government can take necessary steps to cover treatment expenses.
In a lighter moment during the event, children who accompanied the complainants were personally greeted by CM Yogi. He placed his hand affectionately on their heads and distributed chocolates and toffees, bringing smiles amid the serious concerns raised.
The event once again underscored the Chief Minister’s hands-on approach to addressing public grievances and reinforcing government support for healthcare and welfare.
