A shocking case from Mandsaur has once again highlighted the dark side of personal relationships. In Dudhakhedi village, under the Bhanpura police station area, a woman allegedly conspired with her lover to murder her husband in a gruesome manner and then tried to destroy all evidence.

The victim, Dhanraj Nath, had reportedly discovered his wife Dhapubai’s affair with a man from the same village. This led to frequent disputes at home. According to police, the situation escalated to the point where the wife, along with her lover Pankaj Chaudhary, planned to eliminate him. On the night of April 10, the accused allegedly attacked Dhanraj with sharp weapons and killed him.

In an attempt to cover up the crime, the accused reportedly mutilated the body, tried to burn it, and later used heavy machinery to bury the remains in a field. The case initially appeared to be a missing person incident when the wife herself approached the police, but suspicion grew after the couple’s children informed authorities that their father was last seen with the accused.

During the investigation, technical evidence and CCTV inputs helped the police connect the dots. When the suspect was taken into custody and questioned, he reportedly confessed to the crime. Following this, the police recovered the body from the field.

The incident has sparked anger among locals, with protests demanding strict punishment for the accused. Authorities have registered a murder case and taken both the wife and her alleged accomplice into custody. The investigation is ongoing, and officials are working to gather further evidence related to the crime.
