YouTube Zero Minute Feature: YouTube has launched a new feature that will make unnecessary Shorts Feed disappear with a single click. This feature is called '0 Minute.' Learn what this new feature is and how you can activate it to save hours of wasted time.
What is the new feature of YouTube?
Does it happen to you too that you go to watch something useful on YouTube, but get stuck in the Shorts and end up wasting hours? You don't even realize when 2 hours pass by while scrolling through the reels. To avoid this, YouTube has brought such an amazing button for you, which will help you get rid of this 'addiction' in a jiffy. YouTube has added a new 'Time Management' feature in its app. The most special thing about this is that now you can set your limit of watching Shorts to '0 Minute'. That means as soon as you do this setting, there will be no trace of Shorts from your screen.
No 'Shorts' will be visible on the YouTube app anymore.
YouTube spokesperson Mackenzie Spiller confirmed that this feature is now rolling out to everyone. Previously, it was only for children, but now adults will be able to take advantage of it as well. Turning on this special setting will clear your Shorts tab. Unnecessary video suggestions on the home screen will stop, and you'll simply see a message informing you that you've reached your limit.
How useful is this feature of YouTube to you?
You will be focused on studies and work: If you are a student or a working professional, now your attention will not be diverted towards shorts while watching work videos.
Best for kids: Parents need not worry anymore. You can completely block Shorts on your children's phones.
Cleaner home screen: If you don't like Shorts, you won't have to force yourself to look at its thumbnails anymore. Your apps will look just as clean.
How to make YouTube shorts disappear?
- First of all go to the Settings of your YouTube app and find the Time Management option there.
- Here you will see a button of 'Shorts Feed Limit', turn it on (Toggled On).

What to do if you don't see the new YouTube feature?
This new YouTube feature is gradually rolling out to all users. If you don't see it in your settings yet, be sure to update your YouTube app. You may see the feature after that.
