Weather Update: Severe heat in Rajasthan, people troubled by heat waves, storm and rain alert in many districts today

Rajasthan continues to experience intense heatwaves, with the sky raining down at 8 a.m., as hot winds scorched residents throughout Monday. However, by evening, the weather changed, and thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms occurred in many areas. While the intense heat and heatwave persist, several districts also witnessed thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms.

Alert issued today also
The weather department has issued an alert for rain and heat wave along with strong winds in many areas today also. After the scorching heat and heat wave throughout the day on Monday, there was a change in the weather in the evening. There was a strong storm, hailstorm along with rain. Due to the effect of western disturbance, hailstorm along with rain occurred in Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bikaner. Apart from this, in Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Kotputli-Behror and their surrounding areas, there was a dust storm along with dense clouds and at some places it rained late in the evening.

Effect of severe heat wave and summer
If we look at the weather of the last 24 hours, the effect of severe heat wave and summer heat wave was seen in many districts. Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bundi and Chittorgarh as well as Jaipur and its surrounding areas experienced severe heat wave during the day. Severe heat wave made a new record in Jaisalmer on Monday. For the first time in the month of April, the maximum temperature here was recorded at 46.4 degree Celsius. Today, on 28th April, storm and rain alert has been issued in 11 districts of the state, while heatwave warning has been issued in 2 districts.
