VinFast EV Offer: Get 3% Discount When Upgrading From Petrol or Diesel Car

Amid rising fuel costs globally, Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has introduced a special offer for customers planning to switch from petrol or diesel vehicles to electric cars. The company is offering a 3% discount to buyers who upgrade from an ICE-powered vehicle to its electric SUVs VinFast VF6 or VinFast VF7.

While the company has not specified the exact validity of this offer, it stated that the scheme could be extended depending on global developments and future fuel price trends.

Discount Benefits for Buyers

According to reports from Autocar India, customers can receive significant savings under this scheme:

  • Buyers of the VinFast VF6 can get a benefit of up to ₹57,570 with the 3% discount.

  • Buyers choosing the VinFast VF7 can save up to ₹80,370.

This offer is available in addition to existing benefits offered by the company.

Buyback and Loyalty Benefits

The company is also offering an attractive buyback scheme, which promises a resale value of up to 75% of the ex-showroom price, depending on ownership plans ranging from 2 to 5 years.

Customers can also avail an additional 3% loyalty bonus, making the offer more appealing for buyers planning to shift to electric mobility.

Price and Driving Range

Currently, VinFast offers two electric SUVs in its lineup:

  • VinFast VF6 – priced between ₹17.29 lakh and ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • VinFast VF7 – priced between ₹21.89 lakh and ₹26.79 lakh (ex-showroom)

Both models feature a 59.6 kWh battery pack, while the VF7 also gets a larger 70 kWh battery option.

In terms of range:

  • VF6 offers an ARAI-certified range of 468 km.

  • VF7 delivers a range of up to 532 km.

Competition in the EV Segment

In the Indian EV market, the VinFast VF6 competes with models such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and MG Windsor EV.

Meanwhile, the VinFast VF7 rivals larger electric SUVs like the Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV.
