Buxar: The bride was shot during a wedding ceremony in Bihar's Buxar district. In a filmy style, the bride was shot by her lover before the garland ceremony. As soon as she was shot, the bride fell on the stage. It is said that the bride was admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition for treatment. After this, she was referred to Varanasi. There was a commotion after the incident.

A video of the incident has surfaced. It can be clearly seen in it that the lover had joined the crowd during the garland ceremony and fired the shot as soon as he got the chance. After this, the bride fell on the stage itself.
According to the information received, the incident took place in Chausa Nagar Panchayat of Mufassil police station area. It is said that a wedding ceremony was going on on Tuesday night. The bride reached the stage for Jaimala. People were waiting for the Jaimala to happen. Meanwhile, a young man came near the stage and took out a pistol from under his shirt and shot the bride. The accused who shot is said to be the alleged lover. As soon as the bullet hit the bride, she fell on the stage bleeding. Meanwhile, the wedding party and the villagers started running here and there to save their lives. After committing the crime, the accused young man fled from the spot.
The wedding procession had come from Ballia district
It is said that the wedding procession had come from Sulemanpur village in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, to Mallah Tola, Chausa Panchayat, Buxar district . Aarti Kumari, daughter of Nandji Mallah, was getting married there. The wedding rituals were being performed with all the proper rituals. As the bride reached the stage for the jaimala ceremony, a young man named Deenbandhu, who lived in the neighborhood, suddenly climbed onto the stage. Before anyone could react, he fired a shot at the bride. The bullet struck Aarti in the stomach, causing her to collapse.
The girls started shouting, "Aarti has been shot!"
The girls present on the stage with the bride started shouting loudly, "Aarti has been shot... Aarti has been shot." Before people could catch the accused, he fled while firing. The injured Aarti was taken to Buxar Sadar Hospital, from where she was referred to Varanasi. Aarti died on the way to Varanasi.
Villagers say that Deenbandhu had been in love with Aarti for two years. The house of the accused Deenbandhu (father Ramashankar Chaudhary) is near the girl Aarti's house.

Following the incident, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Station House Officer Chandan Kumar stated that at first glance, the case appears to be a love affair. Police are investigating from all angles. The accused will be arrested soon. Police are conducting raids to address this issue.
