Using WhatsApp will now be even more fun! A new 'Notification Bubbles' feature is coming, transforming the way you chat

Under the Notification Bubbles feature, whenever a new message arrives, it will appear on your screen in the form of a small floating icon i.e. bubble.

WhatsApp is soon preparing to introduce a new feature called Notification Bubbles. This feature will be somewhat similar to Facebook Messenger's Chat Bubbles. Its purpose is to allow users to chat without having to repeatedly open the app, saving them time and making their work easier.

This feature is being designed specifically for Android users. It will allow you to read and reply to WhatsApp messages while using another app. This means there's no need to constantly switch apps. This will make multitasking much easier and faster, especially for those who multitask.

How will this feature work?

Under the Notification Bubbles feature, whenever a new message arrives, it will appear on your screen as a small floating icon, or bubble. This bubble will also display the person's or group's profile photo, along with a small WhatsApp icon. When you tap this bubble, a small chat window will open where you can quickly read and reply to the message.

This feature is designed to make the chatting experience smoother and faster. Even if you're watching a video, scrolling through social media, or doing something else, this bubble will remain on the screen, allowing you to continue your conversation without interruption. While some users may find this feature a bit disturbing, the good news is that it can be turned off if needed.

This feature will work in conjunction with Android's notification system. It's primarily supported on Android 10 and above, while the experience will be even better on Android 11 and newer. In some cases, users may need to manually enable it in Settings.

WhatsApp may get a new design change

WhatsApp is also planning to change the top bar of its app. According to reports, the company may replace the app's name with its official logo. This change is considered the biggest design update since 2013 and will make the app's interface appear more modern.

When will this feature be available?

This feature is currently in development and isn't yet available to beta users. It's expected to be released first to select beta testers before rolling out to all users.
