The Indian SUV market is gearing up for two major launches next week, as Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra prepare to introduce their latest models. Both vehicles will arrive with modern styling, advanced features, and new-age technology, making them strong contenders in their respective segments.
Tata Sierra Launch Date
The iconic Tata Sierra is set to make its comeback on November 25. Returning after several years, the new-generation Sierra enters the mid-size SUV segment with a fresh design and upgraded features.
Once launched, it will compete with popular models such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.

Mahindra XEV 9S Launch Date
Mahindra will introduce its all-new electric SUV, the XEV 9S, on November 27. This model is a seven-seater SUV built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform.
A teaser video on the company’s website highlights premium features such as a sunroof, ventilated seats, and modern cabin enhancements. Media reports suggest the XEV 9S could deliver an impressive driving range of 542 km to 656 km on a single full charge, depending on the battery configuration.
Mahindra XEV 9S Expected Price
While the official price will be announced at launch, the XEV 9S is expected to be priced higher than the Mahindra XEV 9e, which starts at ₹21.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
