Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters virtually to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organisations at a job fair on Saturday.

The job fairs will be held at 47 locations across the country. So far, approximately 1.2 million recruitment letters have been issued through 18 job fairs held across the country.

Prime Minister Modi will hand over 51,000 appointment letters to newly hired youth via video conferencing at the 19th annual job fair on Saturday. He will also address a gathering on the occasion.

"Our commitment to the bright future and empowerment of our young colleagues across the country remains unwavering. In this direction, I will be participating in another job fair via video conferencing, where I will have the privilege of handing over appointment letters to youth for various government departments," PM Modi said in a post.

Selected candidates from across the country will be appointed to various central government ministries and departments. Appointments will primarily be made to the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Financial Services, and several central institutions, including the Department of Higher Education.
