A shocking daylight theft took place in Sector 24, Faridabad, Haryana, where two bike-borne criminals broke the window of a parked car and escaped with a bag containing Rs 12 lakh in cash. The entire incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera.

In the footage, a man wearing a helmet can be seen walking toward a parked car outside KD Industries. After glancing around, he smashes the car’s window and pulls out a bag lying inside. Moments later, another man on a bike—also wearing a helmet—arrives. The thief hops onto the bike, and the duo quickly flees the scene.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, with users expressing concern over the growing number of such crimes in broad daylight.

Car owner speaks

The car reportedly belonged to Rahul, a partner at KD Industries. According to him, he had parked the car briefly and left a bag containing the cash inside. Taking advantage of the moment, the miscreants carried out the theft within minutes.

Police investigation underway

Following the incident, police registered a case and have begun tracing the accused using CCTV footage from nearby areas. Authorities said they are confident of identifying the culprits soon based on the visual evidence and escape route analysis.

The daylight theft has created tension in the area, with locals demanding stricter patrolling and quicker police response to curb such crimes.
