Two brothers from Rajasthan had come to Govardhan with their wedding procession. The house was festive, guests had gathered, and the two sisters, dressed in red, awaited their princes. Seeing the commotion growing, the police were called to the scene as the wedding guests were held hostage. Acting immediately, the police detained some key relatives of the groom's side.
