The ICC has started the Phase-1 ticket sale and has said that this will be the most accessible T20 World Cup ever. This tournament is going to be held in India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March 2026. 20 teams will play 55 matches in it. India will face the USA in one of three matches on the opening day of the tournament. Affordable slabs have also been set for major matches. For the first time, tickets are available at such a low price for such a large capacity.

According to BCCI Secretary Devjit Sahakia, "Tickets starting at ₹100 will allow fans from all walks of life to visit the stadium. We want to make the match-day experience top-class." Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) says it is fully prepared to welcome fans from around the world.
