Ever since the teaser and trailer were released, audiences have been eagerly awaiting its release. Now, the film's makers have opened advance bookings for the film on October 17th. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the film is receiving positive reviews based on its initial collections. 'Thama' creates a stir in advance booking
According to SacNilc, "Thamma" earned ₹63.36 lakh on the first day of advance ticket sales. With this, it has collected ₹3.12 crore including blocked seats. A total of 20,798 tickets were sold across 2D, IMAX 2D, and 4DX screens. The film will clash with Harshvardhan Rane's "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat." It will be interesting to see which of these two films audiences prefer.
How much will Thama earn on its first day?
Trade experts believe "Thama" could gross between ₹170 million and ₹220 million on its first day. The producers are targeting sales of over 100,000 tickets at multiplexes like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, and expect 125,000 to 150,000 tickets to be sold before the first show.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is the fifth installment in the Maddock horror comedy franchise. Along with Rashmika and Ayushmann, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The film primarily focuses on the world of vampires and is said to be a bloody love story. The official teaser for "Thamma" was released on August 19th.
