Teja Sajja is gearing up for his next big project, “Zombie Reddy 2”, and the film is already creating strong buzz in the industry even before an official announcement of its full cast.

Following the success of recent small and mid-budget South Indian films, expectations are high from this sequel. Teja Sajja, who has delivered back-to-back hits with “HanuMan” and “Mirai”, is now preparing for another ambitious outing under the zombie-thriller genre.

The latest update suggests that Bollywood actress Shanaya Kapoor may be in talks to join the film as the female lead. Reports indicate that discussions are currently underway, and if everything goes as planned, this could mark her debut in Telugu cinema. However, the makers have not officially confirmed her involvement yet.

“Zombie Reddy 2” is being produced by People Media Factory and is expected to be mounted on a significantly larger budget compared to the first installment. The project brings together a notable creative team, with Suparn Varma directing the film and Prashant Varma contributing as the writer.

Teja Sajja’s previous film “HanuMan”, directed by Prashant Varma, turned out to be a massive success, earning hundreds of crores worldwide despite a modest budget. His follow-up “Mirai” also performed strongly at the box office, further raising audience expectations for his upcoming films.

The original “Zombie Reddy”, released in 2021, was one of Telugu cinema’s early attempts at a zombie-comedy thriller and received a positive response, paving the way for a sequel.
