Farhan then imitated firing a gun with his bat, leaving the stadium spectators and commentators astonished. This celebration went viral on social media within minutes. Commentators and fans even dubbed it the AK-47 celebration.

The 28-year-old Farhan's aggressive batting gave Pakistan a solid start. He, along with Sam Ayub, steadied the innings, especially after the early dismissal of Fakhar Zaman, who was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the third over.

Abhishek Sharma dropped Farhan's catch at third man off Hardik Pandya's bowling on the third ball of the first over. Sahibzada received his second life in the eighth over. Sahibzada scored 58 runs in the match, hitting five fours and three sixes in 45 balls. However, he was dismissed shortly after reaching his half-century, caught by Shivam Dube.
