Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, has stirred controversy with a recent statement in which she praised her husband but simultaneously made a vague accusation against other members of Team India. While appreciating her husband publicly is unproblematic, her remarks suggesting misconduct by other players have drawn widespread attention.

During a political event, Rivaba highlighted Ravindra Jadeja’s discipline despite his frequent travel to countries such as London, Dubai, and Australia for cricket. She stated that despite being exposed to various environments, he has never fallen into any sort of addiction or wrongdoing, which, according to her, reflects his strong sense of responsibility.

The controversy erupted when Rivaba implied that other Team India players do engage in questionable activities. Although she did not specify what kind of wrongdoing she was referring to, her general allegation created confusion and debate among fans and the media. She further added that her husband could engage in such misdeeds if he wished but chooses not to because he understands his responsibilities well.

Rivaba Jadeja currently serves as the Education Minister in the Gujarat government. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja is away from Team India during the break in Test cricket. He also made headlines recently for switching his IPL team. In IPL 2026, Jadeja will represent the Rajasthan Royals instead of the Chennai Super Kings. Interestingly, he began his IPL journey with the Royals and will now return to the franchise once again.
