There is widespread speculation that Jadeja's name has surfaced in the ongoing trade deal between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for Sanju Samson. CSK, which retained Jadeja for a record amount last year, has proposed trading him to Rajasthan Royals in exchange for Sanju. However, neither Rajasthan Royals nor Chennai Super Kings management has issued any statement regarding these discussions.
