A unique journey of devotion to Lord Rama will begin in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. This special journey will begin on January 8th and continue until January 13th. Jaipur: New Year celebrations will no longer be limited to just parties and dancing. Now, in the New Year, a unique combination of enthusiasm and faith will be seen. IRCTC, the tourism wing of Indian Railways, has brought such a special event for all the people, common and special, which will present a wonderful confluence of devotion, history and nature. In fact, at the beginning of the New Year, IRCTC will take devotees on a Ramayana Yatra of Sri Lanka. This journey will take them to all the mythological places which contain the stories of the Ramayana period.
When and how will this religious journey take place?
This special trip will begin on January 8th and continue until January 13th. This package lasts for 5 nights and 6 days. The journey will begin on an Air India flight from Jaipur and arrive in Colombo (Sri Lanka). The most exciting aspect of this trip is that only 35 selected travelers will be included. These seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Devotees participating in this trip will have the opportunity to visit the following historical and religious sites:
Sita Amman Temple: The site where Sita underwent the Agni Pariksha (fire test).
Ashok Vatika (Hakgala Garden): The site where Sita was held captive by Ravana.
Ravana Cave: It is believed to be Ravana's residence.
Vibhishana Temple (Colombo): The temple of Vibhishana, a devotee of Lord Rama.
Hanuman Temple (Ramboda): The site where Hanuman set foot before burning Lanka. Other important sites include the Munneswaram Temple, Manavari Temple, Gayatri Peedam, and Divurumpola Temple.

The cost of this entire trip is ₹71,440 per person.
