South superstar Ram Charan has resumed shooting for his upcoming film Peddi after recovering from a recent on-set injury, reassuring fans about his health during a special birthday appearance.
The actor returned to the film’s set on his birthday and interacted with fans, sharing a video in which he was seen with a bandage over his eye. His appearance sparked concern initially, but Charan confirmed that he is doing well and urged fans not to worry, indicating that the injury was not serious.
In the video, the actor appeared in a traditional look, wearing an Ayyappa garland with his hair tied back, and was seen warmly engaging with fans who had gathered to celebrate the occasion. His return has boosted excitement around Peddi, a project he is banking on for a strong comeback after a series of underwhelming box office performances post-RRR.
Fans flooded social media with positive reactions, calling his return a sign of another blockbuster in the making and extending birthday wishes to the actor.
Adding to the buzz, a fresh glimpse from Peddi was also unveiled, showcasing Ram Charan in a powerful avatar inspired by Lord Hanuman, holding a mace. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and is scheduled for theatrical release on April 30, 2026. Reports also suggest appearances by Mrunal Thakur and a possible acting comeback by Anushka Sharma.
