Preity Zinta: The Only Actress to Romance All Three Khans, But Faced 14 Flops and a Massive Disaster

IPL 2025 turned out to be historic in more ways than one. With RCB finally lifting their maiden IPL trophy after 18 years by defeating Punjab Kings, fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore erupted in celebrations across the country. But it was a tough night for Punjab Kings' co-owner Preity Zinta, who watched her team fall short yet again.

While Preity Zinta has enjoyed immense success in Bollywood, her journey in the IPL has been less fruitful. Despite her infectious smile and charming screen presence, Preity's cinematic career also saw its fair share of setbacks—with 14 flop films to her name.

Bollywood Debut in 'Dil Se', But It Wasn't a Box Office Hit

Preity made her Bollywood debut in 1998 with the film ‘Dil Se’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan. While the movie was not a commercial success back then, it has gained cult status over time, especially for its music. According to media reports, Zinta has delivered at least 14 flops in her career, despite being part of numerous superhit films.

The Biggest Disaster of Her Career: ‘Ishkq in Paris’ (2013)

Her worst-performing film was undoubtedly ‘Ishkq in Paris’, released in 2013. Preity not only played the lead role of Ishkq Maya Xinya, but also produced and co-wrote the film. The movie, which co-starred Rehaan Malik, was a romantic drama shot extensively in Paris.

Despite its exotic locations and high production value, the film failed to impress. The storyline was muddled, performances were average, and it simply couldn't connect with the audience. With a budget of ₹21 crore, the film earned only ₹1 crore at the box office, making it Preity’s biggest flop.

Tried a Comeback with 'Bhaiaji Superhit'

After Ishkq in Paris, Preity took a break from films but made a comeback in 2018 with ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ opposite Sunny Deol. Unfortunately, that film too failed to perform at the box office.

Romanced All Three Khans, Yet Faced the Harsh Side of Bollywood

Despite being the only Bollywood actress to have worked romantically alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, Preity Zinta's career saw a mix of highs and lows. From the success of films like Kal Ho Naa Ho and Veer-Zaara to the disappointment of big-budget flops, her journey has been full of contrasts.

And now, as the IPL continues to evolve, all eyes are on whether her team ownership story will ever see the success her acting once did.
