The Indian government is working on a variety of schemes for the people of the country. If you want to start your own business but don't have the funds, the Indian government provides loans for this purpose. The government is running the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMUDRA) scheme, which provides loans under this scheme.
Under this scheme, the government provides guaranteed
loans to entrepreneurs. If you too want to start a business, you can apply. This scheme was launched in 2015. Under the PM Mudra Yojana, the Government of India previously provided business loans of up to 10 lakh rupees to youth, which has now been increased to 20 lakh rupees.
Loans are available in three categories.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, the government provides loans at affordable interest rates for starting or expanding non-corporate and small industries. This loan is given in three categories: Shishu, Kishor, and Tarun. Loans of Rs 50,000 are given in the Shishu category, Rs 10 lakh in the Kishor category, and Rs 20 lakh in the Tarun category. No guarantor is required for this loan.
