The incident took place after a high-level meeting involving foreign ministers from Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, held as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts related to tensions involving Iran and the United States.
Despite the fall, Dar maintained composure and completed the scheduled photo session before returning home.
Injury Confirmed After Medical Examination
According to his son, Dar initially managed the pain with medication, but when it did not subside, he was taken to a hospital where doctors confirmed a shoulder fracture. Family members reportedly persuaded him to seek proper medical care.

Ishaq Dar has been playing a key role in diplomatic communication amid ongoing geopolitical tensions, acting as an intermediary in ceasefire-related discussions. His presence at the Islamabad meeting was part of these efforts.
