The government said on Wednesday that the new Aadhaar app is being rapidly adopted by people, with over 21 million downloads in the last three months.

Aadhaar-related services have become easier through this app. The IT Ministry said that people are using the app to avail various services, making it easier to update mobile number and address.

28 lakh people updated their mobile numbers

So far, 2.8 million people have updated their mobile numbers using the new Aadhaar app. Similarly, nearly 600,000 people have used the app to update their addresses. The new Aadhaar app is available on both Android and Apple iOS platforms.
