National Weather Forecast: Monsoon rains pouring down the country, heavy rain alert in 16 states

Monsoon is active amidst the heat in many states of the country. Monsoon has already knocked in many states including UP-Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of light to heavy rain in 16 states within the next 8 hours. During this time, strong winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 80 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of lightning at many places. Monsoon is likely to remain active in the central parts of the country for the next 5 to 6 days. According to the Meteorological Department, in the next 2-3 days, conditions are favorable for the southwest monsoon to advance into the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab and some more areas of Rajasthan.

Monsoon enters Rajasthan
With this, the monsoon has entered Rajasthan. Currently, the northern boundary of the monsoon is passing through Tonk, Jaipur and Alwar. Meteorologists predict that conditions are favorable for the rapid advance of the monsoon into some more parts of the state in the next 2 to 3 days. Due to the combined effect of weather systems, the monsoon will remain very active in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur and Bikaner divisions of Rajasthan for the next 5 to 7 days.

Orange alert issued:
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning i.e. nowcast for Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk and Bhilwara districts. There is a strong possibility of sudden strong winds accompanied by moderate to intense thunder and lightning in these areas. An orange alert has been issued for thunderstorms i.e. lightning and light to moderate rain in these districts. Dark clouds have covered the sky in the urban and rural areas of Jaipur and Ajmer and intermittent heavy rain has started at many places.
