Along with Rajasthan, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for today in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. During this, the department has also issued a warning of thunderstorm and lightning in the states of Eastern India.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for today and tomorrow in several districts of Rajasthan. On Friday, heavy rain fell in several districts of the state, including Bikaner. The department has predicted moderate to heavy rain in some parts of southeastern and eastern Rajasthan during these two days. The department has also predicted a decrease in rainfall activity in some parts of western Rajasthan in the next 1-2 days.

The weather department has predicted rain in Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Jaipur and Jodhpur divisions today. Whereas, an alert has been issued for rain in Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions tomorrow. There may be rain in Kota and Udaipur divisions on 21st September. There is a possibility of rain only in Udaipur division on 22nd September. The weather may remain dry at most places in the state on 23rd and 24th. Due to rain, the temperature has dropped in many districts of the state.
