German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new limited-edition performance hatchback in India—the Mercedes-AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition. Priced at ₹87 lakh, this model is aimed at buyers who seek exclusivity combined with extreme performance. Notably, the A45 badge makes a comeback in the Indian market after nearly three years, and this new version is priced lower than the earlier A45 AMG.

Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers an impressive 421 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with the advanced 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, ensuring superior grip and stability by distributing power to all four wheels. Paired with an automatic transmission, the car offers a thrilling driving experience.

Performance remains one of its strongest highlights. The A45 S Aero Track Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 270 km/h. These figures place it among the fastest hatchbacks available in India, making it a serious contender in the high-performance segment.

What sets this special edition apart is its aggressive and track-focused design. The AMG aerodynamics package includes a fixed rear wing, a larger front splitter, and a redesigned rear diffuser—all developed using wind tunnel testing to enhance stability at high speeds. The car also features the AMG Night Package, which adds gloss black styling elements, 19-inch matte black forged alloy wheels, and striking red brake calipers, giving it a bold and sporty appearance.
