Mercedes-Benz Unveils ‘Palace-Like’ Electric VLE With 700 km Range

German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced its new electric luxury people mover, the Mercedes-Benz VLE, designed to combine the spaciousness of a van with the comfort and sophistication of a premium limousine.

Built on the company’s next-generation electric van architecture, the VLE is aimed at a wide range of customers, including large families, luxury travel services, and premium shuttle operators.

Spacious and Flexible Interior

Unlike conventional MPVs, the Mercedes-Benz VLE focuses heavily on passenger comfort and flexible seating arrangements.

Seating for up to eight passengers across three rows
Configurable seating layout to suit different travel needs
Lounge-style interior designed to deliver limousine-like comfort

The vehicle aims to provide van-level space while maintaining the luxury experience associated with Mercedes sedans.

The VLE runs on the brand’s new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), which controls infotainment, connectivity and driver-assistance functions.

A standout feature is the 31.3-inch retractable panoramic display for rear passengers, which can:

The Mercedes-Benz VLE is equipped with a 115 kWh battery pack and an 800-volt electrical architecture, allowing faster charging and improved efficiency.

Up to 355 km range in just 15 minutes with fast charging

Performance and Powertrain

The electric luxury vehicle will be offered in multiple powertrain variants, with the most powerful version producing up to 409 horsepower.

It will also feature 4MATIC all-wheel drive for improved stability and traction.
