A passenger was beaten up by 7-8 people at Jhansi railway station in the Vande Bharat Express train coming from Delhi to Bhopal. The allegation of this assault is on the supporters of Rajiv Singh, BJP MLA from Babina, Jhansi, UP.

An incident of assault has been reported in the Vande Bharat Express train coming from Delhi to Bhopal. A passenger travelling in the executive coach of the train was beaten up by 7-8 people at Jhansi railway station. Supporters of BJP MLA Rajiv Singh from Babina, Jhansi, UP have been accused of this assault.

It is being told that Rajiv Singh, BJP MLA from Babina assembly constituency of Jhansi district, had boarded the Vande Bharat Express from Delhi in coach E-2 along with his wife and son. Rajiv Singh's seat number was 8, while his wife Kamli Singh was sitting on seat number 50 and son Shreyansh Singh was sitting on seat number 51.

Passengers travelling in the train said that a passenger named Raj Prakash was sitting on seat number 49 near the window. The MLA asked him to go to his seat number 8. Raj Prakash refused to change his seat. After this, as soon as the train reached Jhansi railway station, 7 to 8 people entered the coach and beat up Raj Prakash who was sitting on seat number 49. The passenger was beaten with kicks and punches. Due to which his nose was also broken.

Former minister Rawat raised questions and made this demand from the minister

At the time when the fight took place in the train, former minister Ramniwas Rawat was also travelling in the same coach. The former minister wrote about the incident on the social media platform X that “In De Bharat (20172 Delhi to Bhopal) a person sitting on seat number 50 in the executive class (E2) was beaten up by 7/8 people from outside in front of the passengers of the entire coach. The injured person started bleeding from the nose, mouth and ears. Some policemen were also supporting these people.”

He further wrote that if this is the situation in a train like Vande Bharat, what will be the condition of passengers in normal trains, such incidents work to scare the passengers. The Railway Minister is requested to pay special attention to this.

Raj Prakash is in panic after this incident. He said that I am complaining to the police. Congress leader Mukesh Nayak shared a video of this incident on social media and raised questions on the BJP government.

Sharing the video of the victim of the incident, Congress media cell chief Mukesh Nayak wrote that an elderly passenger in the Vande Bharat train refused to change seat number 49. Supporters of Babina BJP MLA Rajiv Singh beat him up at Jhansi station. His nose started bleeding… Is this the reality of “good governance”? There is no law in Uttar Pradesh, there is goonda raj.

Women and children were terrified

A passenger named Kirti told that Raj Prakash ji was sitting on seat number 49. 15 to 20 people boarded the train from Jhansi station and started beating him with kicks, punches and slippers. His nose got fractured and he was covered in blood.

The fight took place in the presence of policemen

Another passenger said that there were three-four policemen there, when the police itself is involved in this, whom can we ask for help. The fight happened in the presence of the police. After that the police became unaware. Then the railway police came. They came from the other side. At that time there were three-four people from the police department, in front of whom this fight happened.
