Kia India recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in March 2026, driven by strong demand for its popular SUV lineup, particularly the Seltos and Sonet. The company sold 29,112 units during the month, marking a 14.5 percent increase compared to 25,525 units in March 2025.

SUV Lineup Powers Growth
According to the company, the consistent popularity of its key models played a major role in achieving this milestone. The Kia Seltos emerged as the top performer, regularly crossing 10,000 units in monthly sales. The Sonet continued to perform steadily in the compact SUV segment, while the Carens maintained strong demand in the MPV category.

Quarterly Sales Also Rise
For the January–March quarter (Q4 2026), Kia India reported total sales of 84,316 units, reflecting an 11.6 percent growth over 75,576 units sold during the same period last year.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing), highlighted that the updated Seltos has been a key growth driver. Its recent 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP has further strengthened customer confidence. He added that the Sonet and Carens have also consistently contributed to the company’s overall performance.

Focus on Safety and Features
Kia attributes its success to a strong focus on safety, premium design, and feature-rich offerings. With rising consumer preference for technologically advanced and safe vehicles, the company has continued to update its models to meet evolving expectations.

Expanding Network Across India
The automaker has also expanded its presence significantly, now operating 862 touchpoints across 390 cities. In addition, Kia has established 124 certified pre-owned outlets, enhancing accessibility and convenience for customers.
