Prime Video’s hit crime thriller Mirzapur has become one of India’s most popular web series, praised for its gripping story, powerful performances, and intense action. After three successful seasons, the show is now making a leap from OTT to the big screen with Mirzapur: The Film.

Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the iconic Kaleen Bhaiya, recently gave an exciting update. In an interview, he mentioned that shooting for the next season is likely to start soon, revealing, "I don’t have many details, but I heard it’s going to begin in a month." He also confirmed that Mirzapur Season 4 is in the works and expected to release next year.

The film version of Mirzapur was announced last year, but the storyline remains under wraps. Co-producer Farhan Akhtar created a buzz on social media by sharing a teaser last October announcing the film’s release in 2024 with the caption: "Ab Bhaukaal Bhi Bada Hoga, Aur Parda Bhi."

The third season of Mirzapur premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 5, 2024, featuring a stellar cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Verma, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma, among others.
