Jammu and Kashmir: After 'Mahadev', now Operation Shivshakti has started, two terrorists killed in an encounter near LoC

The army had launched Operation Mahadev in Srinagar to eliminate the terrorists of the Pahalgam terror attack. In this sequence, on Wednesday, security forces killed two terrorists near the Line of Control in Kasliyan under Poonch. The army named this action Operation Shivshakti.
Regarding the operation, the Army's White Knight Corps wrote on its official X account, the Indian Army killed two terrorists who were trying to infiltrate across the Line of Control. Quick action and accurate firing foiled their nefarious designs. Three weapons have been recovered from the terrorists. This operation was successful due to the information received from our intelligence units and Jammu and Kashmir Police. At present the operation is ongoing.

Two suspects were seen on LoC
Initially, the White Knight Corps wrote on the official X post that the soldiers have seen the movement of two suspicious people near the fence in the general area of Poonch sector. Meanwhile, firing also took place. Officials said on Wednesday that the encounter started when the army personnel stopped a group of terrorists trying to infiltrate into the Indian territory from across the border in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Alert soldiers observed movement of terrorists infiltrating the Maldivalan area of Degwar sector late Tuesday night, following which firing started. He said that during the firing, two terrorists were shot.
Operation Mahadev was carried out in Srinagar
Earlier on Sunday, the army had launched Operation Mahadev in Srinagar. Under this operation, security forces killed three Pakistani terrorists in Dachigam Mulnar in Srinagar. These include the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack, Suleman alias Suleimani alias Hashim Musa and his two fellow terrorists.
To kill them, the army had started Operation Mahadev two days ago, which continued till late Monday evening. The terrorists killed in the operation have been identified as Suleman Shah, Jibran and Abu Hamza Afghani.
