A surprising twist in the latest ICC T20 rankings has grabbed attention worldwide, with Ishan Kishan rising to the top spot as the No. 1 T20 batter, overtaking Abhishek Sharma in the process.

Before the Ireland series, Abhishek held the No. 1 position with 875 rating points, while Kishan was close behind at 871. Some of his standout knocks include a rapid 103 off 43 balls, a crucial 77 against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, and a match-winning 54 in the World Cup final, which played a key role in India’s title win.
