‘Inflation Hits SUV Buyers’: Mahindra Bolero Neo Gets Costlier by Up to ₹20,000

With the new year approaching, carmakers have begun revising prices across their line-ups. After Hyundai’s recent hike, Mahindra has now increased the prices of its popular SUV, the Mahindra Bolero Neo. The revised prices have already come into effect, meaning buyers will now have to shell out more for certain variants.

Biggest Hike on Base Variant

As per industry reports, the N4 base variant equipped with the 1.5-litre turbo diesel (manual) has witnessed the highest price increase of ₹20,000.

  • New price range: ₹8.69 lakh to ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • Overall price increase: Up to 2.36 percent, depending on the variant

Mid Variant Also Gets Costlier

The N8 variant has also seen a price revision.

  • Old price: ₹9.29 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • New price: ₹9.45 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • Increase: ₹16,000

In this price bracket, the Bolero Neo competes with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and the Hyundai Creta.

Variants That Remain Unchanged

Not all trims have been affected by the hike. Prices of the following variants remain the same:

  • N10: ₹9.79 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • N11: ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • N10 (O): ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom)

Engine and Key Features

The Mahindra Bolero Neo is powered by the mHawk100 diesel engine, known for its strong low-end torque and reliability. Key features include:

  • ABS with EBD

  • Corner Braking Control

  • Eco driving mode

  • Rear parking camera and reverse parking assist

  • Premium interior setup

  • 7-seater configuration

What This Means for Buyers

With prices climbing by up to ₹20,000, the Bolero Neo has become slightly more expensive, especially for entry-level buyers. However, unchanged prices on higher variants may still make them better value-for-money options.
