In a thrilling match, the Indian team managed to win by seven runs. With this victory, the Indian team has also entered the final round of the tournament. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was very happy after the victory against the opposition. Sharing his thoughts after the match, he said, "It's an incredible feeling. Traveling to Ahmedabad for the final match is very special for all of us. I jokingly asked Harry (Harry Brook) how many more runs we should score against you. He was always there during the match. He was in the match even while chasing the target. But the way Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and the other bowlers brought the match back in their favor is incredible. This bowling performance during the match was very special."
Indian vice-captain Axar Patel took two brilliant catches during the match. Regarding his excellent fielding, Captain Surya said, "Our fielding coach T. Dilip also deserves credit. He's been working very hard with the team. If someone had checked my heart rate during the match, they would have noticed it easily reached around 160 to 175."
India defeated England to enter the final
Team India defeated England in the semi-final to advance to the final of the tournament. They will now face New Zealand in Ahmedabad on March 8th for the title. The victorious team will claim the title.
India won by seven runs
Speaking of the Indian team's performance in the semi-final, India lost the toss in Mumbai and batted first, managing 253/7 in 20 overs. Opening the innings, Sanju Samson was the top scorer, scoring a half-century of 89 runs off 42 balls.
Chasing India's target of 254, Jacob Bethell smashed an explosive century of 105 runs off 48 balls. However, even he could not prevent England's defeat, and the team lost by seven runs in a thrilling match.
