“I will neither engage in corruption nor allow it,” CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, alleging Congress worked on favoritism during its rule

During a visit to Mandalgarh on Saturday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma sharply criticized the former Congress government. Highlighting his government's achievements over the past two years, he said that previous governments gave jobs based on "looks and faces," while his government operates with transparency, clear policies, and accountability.

Tough stand against corruption: "I will neither eat nor let others eat"

After a grand welcome at the Mandalgarh helipad, the Chief Minister inspected a follow-up camp under the Jan Seva Initiative. Addressing the gathering, he cited alleged irregularities in the Jal Jeevan Mission and alleged widespread corruption during the Congress regime.
He noted that many ministers and officials from the previous government are now in jail, and asserted that his government follows a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. He stressed, "Corruption was rampant during the Congress regime; their ministers and officials are now in jail. Our principle is clear: I will neither eat nor let others eat. No matter how big the corrupt person is, he will not be spared." Sharma said that prosecution has been granted in 34 cases so far under the government's anti-corruption campaign.

Speaking on youth issues, the Chief Minister said that repeated paper leaks during the Congress party's five-year tenure had jeopardized the future of young candidates. He claimed that not a single paper leak occurred during his government's two-year tenure. According to him, 138 FIRs have been registered in such cases and 394 accused have been arrested.

On law and order, Sharma said crime in the state has decreased by 15 percent compared to 2023. He also pointed out that the government has introduced 28 new policies to accelerate economic growth, ensuring that “whoever comes to invest will benefit.”

Focus on women empowerment and inclusive development

Referring to the Lakhpati Didi scheme, the Chief Minister said the government is now working towards transforming beneficiaries into "crorepati didis." Accompanied by Mandalgarh MLA Gopal Khandelwal and MP Damodar Agrawal, he assured the public that all promises made to citizens and youth are being fulfilled on a priority basis.

District Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, SP Dharmendra Singh Yadav, BJP District President Prashant Mewara and many other senior officials and dignitaries were present in this program.
