- Coriander leaves are used to enhance the flavor of any dish. However, storing them for long periods of time can be quite challenging. So, here we're going to share an easy hack for storing coriander leaves.
- Remove any damaged or yellowed cilantro leaves and trim off the roots. Avoid washing the cilantro. Find an airtight container or ziplock bag. Line it with a paper towel or tissue paper. Place the cilantro leaves on top and cover with another paper towel. Seal the container/bag and store in the refrigerator.
- The tissue paper absorbs moisture, keeping the coriander fresh for a longer period of time.
- Cut off the roots from the cilantro bunch, but don't wash the leaves. Pour some water into a glass or jar. Place the cilantro stems in the water, keeping the leaves at the top. Cover the leaves with a plastic bag or foil. Store in the refrigerator. Change the water every 2-3 days.
- Wash and dry the coriander thoroughly and then chop it finely. Place the chopped coriander in a ziplock food bag and remove all the air from it. Store it in the freezer. It will last for 2-3 months. Alternatively, you can air dry it thoroughly or in the oven and store it as powder or dried leaves. Dried coriander can be stored in an airtight container outdoors or in the refrigerato
