AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the Grand Alliance following the NDA's victory in the Bihar elections. He said the opposition should focus on its own weaknesses rather than debate over EVMs.
New Delhi: In the Bihar election results, NDA has won with a huge majority. The Grand Alliance does not even seem to be close to the numbers required to form the government. Whereas AIMIM has won five seats. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly targeted the Grand Alliance for the unexpected results of the opposition in the Bihar elections.
While talking about the election results, Owaisi said that the opposition should think why they are not able to stop the BJP? SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has said that SIR is the reason for the defeat of the Grand Alliance in Bihar. On this, Owaisi said, till when will you talk nonsense on SIR-EVM.
Owaisi's advice to the opposition
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi advised, "Leaving aside SIR-EVM, we should look at where the weakness lies. If you keep thinking that we are kings and the voters are our subjects, then that era is gone; the public will not vote for you."
Regarding the party's five-seat victory in Bihar, Owaisi said, "Our party welcomes the mandate given by the people of Bihar. We congratulate Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and extend our best wishes."
AIMIM will cooperate with the government
Addressing a press conference, Owaisi stated that his party would cooperate with the government for the development of Seemanchal. He stated that his party's focus would be on bringing progress to Seemanchal, reducing child mortality, and building schools, hospitals, bridges, and industries for women and children. He stated that he would extend his full support to this endeavor.
Owaisi stated that despite the defeat in the first election and the alleged plot by rivals to divide Seemanchal by luring away four MLAs in 2022, AIMIM did not abandon Seemanchal and declared that it would continue its fight. Thanking the voters of Seemanchal for electing his party's five MLAs, Owaisi stated that this result would send a message to minorities across the country.
He stated, "I once again appeal to the Muslim community not to simply become voters for others, but to become citizens to assert their rights as citizens. If you vote, you will be forgotten after the elections, and if you face any trouble, no one will come to your aid."
