Producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala has confirmed that the film is still moving forward smoothly and has not been shelved, putting an end to rumors about delays or cancellation. However, he has also clarified one key point—Priyadarshan will not be directing the third installment.

Earlier, there was speculation that Priyadarshan, who directed the original Hera Pheri in 2000, might return to the franchise. But the producer has now dismissed these reports, confirming that the director’s chair remains separate from him.

Despite the uncertainty around direction, the project itself remains active. Fans can still expect the return of the iconic trio—Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal—who made the franchise a cult comedy favorite.

While no official release date has been announced yet, the makers insist that the film is progressing in the right direction, keeping hopes alive for one of Bollywood’s most awaited comebacks.
