Heavy rains are happening in many states of India, while in some places people are suffering from heat. In the states where the monsoon has knocked, it is raining heavily, while where the monsoon has not yet arrived, the mercury has reached very high. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in many states and light to moderate rain in many states for a week from today.

People in Delhi are going to get relief from the scorching heat soon. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with strong thunderstorms in Delhi NCR and surrounding states. People are expected to get relief from the heat due to rain and strong winds. There may be a slight drop in the temperature of Delhi in the coming few days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in most parts of North India including UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana.

According to the Meteorological Department, people of North India are expected to get relief from the scorching heat. Due to the change in weather, there is a possibility of coolness, cloudiness, and rain in many states. Cloud cover will provide relief to people from the scorching sun. The maximum temperature in North India is predicted to be 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is predicted to be 28 degrees Celsius.

There will be heavy rain in these states.

According to the Meteorological Department, most of the states of North India will be cloudy on June 16 and 17, and light to moderate rain is expected. Due to cloud cover and rain, the temperature will drop, as well as the weather conditions will also improve. However, the IMD has issued several alerts. At the same time, a red alert has been issued for the next two days in Punjab and Haryana regarding the continuous heat and possible storms.

Red alert in Bihar-Rajasthan

At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, an alert of storm and rain has been issued in eastern UP. Heavy rain is predicted in many districts of Bihar. Whereas, a red alert has been issued by the IMD in Rajasthan. Rain alerts have also been issued in Haryana and Punjab due to changing weather.

According to IMD, good rain will start in North Bihar from June 15-16. There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in most places of the state from June 17 to 20, 2025.

Orange alert for rain in this state
The temperature in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, has increased by 2 degrees. According to IMD, the temperature was recorded at 39 degrees on Friday. At the same time, an orange alert for rain has been issued in many areas. Also, the possibility of monsoon moving forward has been expressed. Monsoon can reach Raipur by June 17.
