Ban imposed without locker

Let us tell you that there is a ban on carrying bags, sheets, food items, and your pet at India Gate and as soon as you reach the entrance of India Gate, you will be stopped immediately. If you ask where to keep the luggage or where is the locker, then the answer you will get from the security guard present there, you will never plan to visit India Gate again, because the security guard and marshal will tell you that there is no locker arrangement here, hearing which you will hold your head, because rules have been made here but not even a single locker has been arranged for the convenience of the large number of tourists coming here. The way locker rooms are made at Red Fort and Qutub Minar, not a single locker room has been made at India Gate.

Tourists said that they would never come for a visit again.

During this time, Alok Gupta, who had come from Prayagraj, was sitting with his bag for a long time at the entry gate of India Gate. He was looking upset. Seeing him sad, when we asked him why he was sitting here with so many bags, why he did not go for a visit inside, he said that his whole family had gone for a visit inside, he is sitting here and guarding the bag, because the security guards and marshals present here say that the bags cannot be taken inside. When he asked why he could not take them inside, he did not get any correct answer. When asked about the locker arrangement, he got the answer that there was no locker there. Tourists are responsible for their luggage, so now when the family comes back from the visit, then they will go for a visit inside.

When we talked to Mahesh, who had come from Prayagraj, he said that the rule had been made here, but there was no locker arrangement. If there was a locker, the general public would have benefited. At least the general public could have kept the luggage in the locker taken a token and gone for a visit inside. It is such a big tourist hub, we are not able to get a locker made. Hemant, who came from Banaras, said that this is right from the point of view of security, but the helplessness of the common people should be understood. No one from nearby areas comes to visit India Gate, everyone comes from different states, different cities, and countries, and people are returning disappointed from the outside.

The security guard said this reason.
When we tried to talk to the security guards and marshals present here, they told off the camera that continuous efforts are being made to beautify India Gate. A lot of new things including new grass were planted at India Gate, but the tourists spoiled the entire grass and also made the lights installed here and the entire park dirty. People come here and eat food by spreading sheets. They lie on the grass for hours. The beauty of India Gate was getting spoiled. Due to this, bags, sheets, and food items have been banned. Some alternatives is being found for the locker arrangement.
